Recently my Living Environment classes completed a lab I found on Amy Balling's blog "Ballin with Balling" called Oreo Mitosis. The kids had a great time and did a super job modeling the process of mitosis.
 Schenevus, Ska-NEE-vus, is located about 20 minutes (as the crow flies) southeast of Cooperstown, NY (Home of the Baseball Hall of Fame). It is a small, rural community surrounded by the beautiful foothills of the Catskills.
